Meet Our Physician Assistants
Jo Ann Bridges, PA-C
Jo Ann graduated from the Physician Assistant Program at Essex Community College in Baltimore, Maryland in 1981.
She also earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a Pre-Med emphasis. Jo Ann is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
Julie Voss, PA-C
Julie earned her master’s degree in physician assistant studies from the University of North Texas and received her bachelor’s degree in human nutrition from Ohio State University.
Her clinical interests include preventative medicine, nutrition, orthopedics, and women’s health.

What is a Physician Assistant?
A physician assistant (or PA) is a nationally certified and state-licensed medical professional. PA’s practice medicine on healthcare teams under the supervision of physicians. They can provide regular health care for the entire family. Physician assistants can:
- Take your medical history
- Conduct physical exams
- Diagnose and treat illnesses
- Order and interpret tests
- Develop treatment plans
- Counsel on preventive care
- Write prescriptions
